Social media/influencer horror is a dime a dozen these days. Thankfully INFLUENCER sets itself apart with a beautiful location based shoot, and an absolutely phenomenal star making performance by Cassandra Naud. Naud owns the movie, which is good because we spend almost all of it with her. Somewhat predictable, and pedestrian in its commentary, INFLUENCER is nonetheless a fun time. 2023 Ranked (https://boxd.it/kiMdu)

Assisti Influencer e agora só consigo pensar no que esse filme poderia ter sido se tivesse tido mais cuidado no seu roteiro. A ideia da narrativa não é de todo ruim, seria um prato cheio para explorar alguns pontos psicológicos que envolvem os influencers e seu trabalho com an internet. Porém, o roteiro tira a relação das duas moças muito cedo. E aqui eu acredito que elas teriam tido uma história muito melhor do que o que foi mostrado, justamente por serem dois lados da mesma moeda. Ambas solitárias, cada uma a sua forma. Acredito que existia um mundo a ser explorado, mais discussões e até cenas de tensão, mas escolhas deixaram o filme ser só mais um filme já feito. E olha que a temática tinha muitos pontos legais a serem usados. Pena que desperdiçaram uma premissa boa com um roteiro perdido.
