Return to Silent Hill
don't trust the average this movie is cool
Return to Silent Hill
I'm torn between if I disliked it or not. This had some of the most visually ugly scenes I've seen in years on a big screen (plus flashing lights scenes. God, please stop with flashing lights in films without warnings), and yet was...coherent? It changed some of the best parts of a game kid me loved for the worse, and yet...felt like the most accurate SH film thus far? At least as disorienting as playing one for the first time as a kid felt. Didn't think I could accurately explain that concept before, but it was close to this! Is such an experience meant to be good?
Return to Silent Hill
Return to Silent Hill
Return to Silent Hill
Uh.. I don't remember that Silent Hill looking like this? This is so awful, I miss the real Silent Hill. I'm holding back my sleep, because this movie is very boring, not even scary, the only thing I like is Pyramid Head, the rest is meh.. also I hate when the camera movement turn into a VR mode, make me dizzy. I actually had high expectation for this movie, but this is very disappointing, my advice is to keep your money and don't waste your time by watching this. Argh I watched 2 bad 2026 movies today, even though I hope 2026 will have many good movies, hopefully all the movies for next month will be good.
Return to Silent Hill
Return to Silent Hill
I thought the first two acts were good, but I found the ending VERY WTF.

Return to Silent Hill
"Our place. Our town. Our love. It was here. It was everywhere. And now, they keep telling me to let go, to move on. But how could I ever do that when you're calling me?" This was indeed a movie
Return to Silent Hill
Let’s be honest here… Genuinely one of the single worst films I’ve ever bore witness to. The bones of Silent Hill 2are there, but to call this an adaptation of the game would be a mockery of the game. Very surprised Konami was willing to attach their name to an adaptation as soulless as this was. A couple okay set pieces makes a good film not, and this shares that sentiment wholeheartedly. It’s drab, lifeless, stilted, and, worst of all, boring. I was not entertained in the slightest, finding my glimpses at my watch more invigorating than the slop on screen. I give props to everyone involved in making the film, since it’s such a big deal to work on a film, but god, this was horrendous. #NotMyJames
