back when i was young: this was so fire!! 21 y.o and watching it again: hell nah.

School Movie Club: #17 (https://boxd.it/rTvb4/detail) It’s fine. Doesn’t do anything special as it’s basically a Jumanji copy. The cast is alright, nobody really stood out for me. There is some fun to be had with this, but I would never recommend it over Jumanji. It was a bit of a missed opportunity to not explore space at all. They were in the house the whole time and it would’ve been cool to see them actually do stuff in space. Instead of we just glimpses of space out the window. 6/10

I’m just wondering when it came to the big twist finding out that the astronaut is actually the big brother does that mean that in the astronaut universe he don’t got a sister? I get he can’t go back home but he wouldn’t be so alone if he had his sister around? Something my brain can’t stop thinking about.
