Again, surprisingly good. The fight between Voldemort and Dumbledore was good and the story actually flowed well. Still, I can’t help but question the morals and government of the wizarding world, they are in desperate need of reform from the top down. Also, it’s now been three films since Hermione used that necklace to go back in time. Still don’t know why she doesn’t use that more often as she could’ve saved countless lives with it at this point.

O mais fraco e esquecível da franquia principal, apesar de já começar a tocar em temas mais políticos e jogo de poder, tem o Plot mais foda-se de todos e o "realismo" que o Yates quer empregar pra franquia daqui pra frente não me desce bem. Mas no geral tem seus momentos, tem destaques, mas são 2h que passam e eu só lembro mesmo do confronto de Dumbledore com o Voldemort.

A entrada de Yates na franquia se prejudica pelo excesso e dispersão narrativa que atropela a dramaturgia e não permite que algo sólido se estabeleça. Juntando isso com a inapetência e inexpressividade do diretor, o resultado é um capítulo frustrante com momentos pontuais de destaque. Luna Lovegood continua sendo a melhor personagem da franquia.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Order of the Phoenix has far more whim(sy) than the films before it. It’s such a noticeably different feel which is unsurprising given the apparent change in director. I’m still deciding how I feel about it, but it’s a pleasant change as the HP storyline is starting to feel average and somewhat repetitive. What I do know is that with David Tennant, Robert Pattinson, Emma Thompson, and Helena Bonham Carter, the only guest star this kind of franchise is missing is Johnny Depp. Love that man. Overall this was like a blend of Parent Trap, Karate Kid, and The Polar Express all rolled into one, but average.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is a necessary evil for the series, offering a bit of time to let the characters grow, but ultimately doesn’t change a lot of the general plot. That being said, it’s still an entertaining entry, and while it may not be the most action-packed film, it still looks good and serves its purpose.
