Un monólogo llevado a la realidad en un cortometraje de 30 minutos, donde Almodóvar muestra los límites al presentarnos a su protagonista sumida en el duelo y el abandono. Un entorno cargado de recuerdos y dolor, sumergiendo al personaje en un sentimiento de soledad El clímax que hace maravilloso este corto llega con al final donde el fuego es protagonista incendiando todo lo que la rodea, dejando atrás toda esa soledad y recuerdos y a la vez abriendo paso a una nueva vida. Te quiero mucho, Mubi por recomendarme esto

Tilda Swinton talking to her ex-lover with AirPods, while wearing sparkle pants, a floral blouse, and leather jacket while pouring gasoline on a set? That’s camp. (But really, this was a decent short with a great performance from Swinton, but I’m not too sure what else it offered?)

La dirección de Pedro es genial pero siempre me ha sorprendido más cómo escribe, en especial los monólogos. Siempre son creíbles y hablan muchísimo de los personajes en sí. Buen corto.

Pedro Almodóvar (https://boxd.it/p148) • 2023 • Drama There is nothing better thanTilda Swinton acting for 30 uninterrupted minutes — The Human Voiceis thoroughly an Almodóvar film, despite it being his very first film acted fully in English. He plays a lot with space, color, and sound in this and was obviously forced to get creative as this was made during the height of the pandemic. The set itself is very apparently a set (our protagonist goes on a “walk” outside, which is just the lot the set is in itself). I was the only one in the theatre when this played as a double feature alongside Strange Way of Life, so it was kind of relaxing.

Esta es una dupla del sueño,Tilda ofrece una interpretación contenida en una de las musas mas grandes en la carrera de Pedro,Por su lado el director hila de manera inteligente este monologo desgarrador de la perdida del amor artificial ,Cada dialogo ,cada movimiento ,cada centímetro que es decorado esta planeado para ser perfectos ,No me cansaría de verlo uno y mil veces,No me imaginaria el texto de Jean Cocteau de otra manera que no fuera con este estallido de colores y matices adoptados por el director manchego.
