Home Sweet Home Alone
“Are you saying your parents left you…HOME ALONE?” While blatantly sharing concepts of the original films, and trying to put a bit of a twist on certain aspects, the film feels wholly uninspired and not at all engaging. Some scenes from the original being done with the same music in the background just made me scratch my head. Something like this should be fun but instead is just a pantomime of something you’ve seen done better. And with substantially more heart. I’d skip this and just put on the originals, maybe even the third if you’re desperate enough.

UNA MAFUFADA, UNA CARTA DE ODIO AL CINE Y LA NAVIDAD. Siempre he dicho que hacer remakes, secuelas o reboots de sagas y películas pasadas no es mala idea siempre y cuando se respete el material original o mínimo se haga un trabajo decente y atractivo para el público. Este no es el ejemplo. Los personajes y la historia está muy forzada para cumplir con la trama que conocemos del niño olvidado en casa que creativamente tiene que enfrentarse en el allanamiento de su casa, todo esto en navidad. Pudo ser mejor, mínimo para ser una película palomera para esta navidad. Si quieres sentirme miserable en estas épocas de paz y amor, está es tu película.

Watching home alone without laugh or even a little bit of smile is terrible. The best thing from this movie is the soundtrack, its kinda nostalgia.
