A Nasty Piece of Work

While there were some shining moments, A Nasty Piece of Work didn’t have an entirely clear idea of what it wanted to be, which made the film feel a bit haphazard. It was very entertaining, and it’s nice that the trailers didn’t entirely spoil the film, but I honestly had a lot more fun watching Ready or Not, which takes a similar concept and actually knows what it wants to do. It’s still a better installation into the Into the Dark series, and I’m excited to see what else is on this year’s slate.
