Horse Girl
Alison Brie spiraling to conspiracy theorism (where she ends up the hero of her own story trying to foil a sinister alien abduction and cloning plot) to cope with her own depression and to ignore her family's history of it should 1) probably not have been this compelling, and 2) definitely not have been the best original Netflix film I've seen in years. But it's both!
Horse Girl
Horse Girl is a performance driven psychological drama, depicting the slow descent of paranoia due to mental illness. With a strong performance by Alison Brie, Horse Girl stays strong, even with the odd final act. Mental illness is always a slippery slope to depict, since there’s still so much stigma attached to many illnesses, especially schizophrenia. But this film doesn’t try to demonize it, which is refreshing. Horse Girl certainly is an odd film, but if you’re willing to give it a chance, it really is an interesting watch.

im a horse girl too, and i think we're all like this....
Horse Girl
Para Jeff Baena su drama empieza tan solido y termina tan inestable que pierdes el gusto en su historia fácilmente, la pasión de Alison Brie en su personaje logra encaminarte hasta el final como único punto positivo.
