❝You see, Ron, the problem is you're not smart enough to know how not smart you are.❞ 𐄁──── ｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ.────𐄁 Featuring a very talented ensemble cast, No Sudden Move uses tight camerawork to enhance the engaging, if complex, plot. The opening scenes certainly grab one's attention, but unfortunately the film loses steam around the halfway mark, and is very much carried by the excellent performances of Don Cheadle and Benicio del Toro working together as a great comedic, criminal duo. I do think a lot of the actors in the cast were wasted; Kieran Culkin, for instance, provided some really good humour in his scenes at the beginning, and it was a shame that he had so little screen-time. The pacing of the film was not the best, and it made the two hour run-time feel much longer, but with that being said, this was an interesting film overall, and I would recommend giving it a watch.

Me he dado cuenta que he visto mucho cine de Soderbergh desde que empezó la pandemia. Soderbergh tiene una manera singular de reunir un elenco de actores de renombre y pasarla desapercibida. En está película es el mismo caso, Don Cheadle y Benicio son un par que tienen la química exacta para que funcione toda la película. La trama mantiene el misterio y nos encierra en un alegato entre criminales y una misión con gran dinero de por medio. Aunque esto luego llega a ser tedioso pero al final nos da la gran lección de no confiar en nadie y da un final bueno a esta película.

Soderbergh se monta en la nostalgia de repetir dupla con Benicio del toro y Don Cheadle en los que es un tenso y entretenido drama criminal repleto de una dirección medidisima donde el director encuentra una historia potente y visualmente maravillosa, todo esta medido al ojo de un director experimentado y elenco a la altura.

A new Soderbergh joint that, while entertaining most of the time, feels like its needs a bit more...spunk. Happy to see my man Brendan Frasier working again.
