The Exorcism
Nice movie to nap in. This movie is so boring it makes me so sleepy, 35 minutes to the end when it starts spooky but still not strong horror. Rather than horror i would say this movie a mystery movie, you barely see horror or jumpscare here. You better release the "Georgetown" movie it could be good than this.

This was fine?? The story itself was decent, but the script really needed some retooling. It felt a bit meta at times, which brought an interesting spin to it, but wasn’t enough to really make this film stand out. By Jo means is this the worst film I’ve seen this year. But, this easily is one of the more disappointing. I wasn’t expecting anything revolutionary, but I was hoping for something a little better than okay.

Totally fine. The first third or so is pretty good, but once it really dips into the tropes of the genre, and goes fully supernatural, it really loses steam. It’s unfortunate because there’s definitely some decent stuff here, and interesting stuff to be mined from the basic idea of the father/daughter relationship and a “cursed” film, unfortunately by actually going with the trope-y supernatural nonsense in the latter parts of the film, it just becomes another weak exorcist film. 2024 Ranked (https://boxd.it/rJ4dW)

This should’ve been a short film of 50 min tops. There is so much scenes that lead nowhere and the cuts meant to work as transitions are vague and overdone.

I never thought of cinema this way. Why bother showing anything when you can explain it all through dialogue? Amazing! Truly utilizing the medium to its fullest potential.
