Ten years between the tease at the end of Jason Goes To Hell and this new millennium smack down. They might have missed their moment. Probably should have watched them already by this point but I'm more interested in my remaining 80's Nightmares than this particular Freddy.

Who would've thought that two of the most infamous horror movie villains would face off in an almost completely forgettable film? It's a surprise that this film actually exists, but Freddy vs. Jason sure is an interesting film nonetheless. The concept of classic characters fighting each other is something that isn't new, as many other films have done the same thing, but something as big as Freddy Krueger vs Jason Voorhees is the largest to date. Both characters are part of huge series, so it makes sense that they'd end up fighting each other. The concept of this film is interesting, as they both are completely different characters, but the execution of the film leaves you wanting more. The fighting of the characters is the highlight of the film, yet the fight scenes only last a couple minutes throughout the entire film, with the rest of the film being the typical early 2000's teenagers doing typical teenage stuff. This film is supposed to be a fight between the two icons, yet only gives fans that at the end of the film. As a horror film, it's nothing too special, it's just a film that hypes up the anticipation of the epic fight between the two characters, a fight that really is a letdown. Ultimately, this film would have been a good idea if it had been done in the hayday of the films, being released when actual films in the series were being released, not years after the fact. Freddy vs. Jason is a fun horror film, but really isn't something that you'll be remembering for a while.

Beast mode of a movie, but a product of the early 2000s in the best (and worst) ways, and a painful reminder that studio execs at New Line FUCKED US out of getting Freddy vs Jason vs Ash Williams OH MY GOD IT MAKES ME SO SAD WHYYYYYY I KNOW IT GOT TURNED INTO A COMIC BASED ON THE SCRIPT BUT GODDAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phenomenal Final Battle Wish they followed up the ending of this tho The only complaint I have is that there isn't a lot of freddy/jason compared to the other random characters. Also for some reason this film makes jason look like the good guy lol

Okay this was pretty bad but also super fun 😂. I loved seeing Freddy and Jason fight. The opening monologue from Freddy was sick, and the third act was amazing. Easily a better ending for Freddy than The Final Nightmare. I’ve only seen the first four Friday the 13th movies so i’m not really sure where Jason’s story was at this point, but he was very brutal. I still like Friday the 13th 3Ds Jason the best because he’s just so terrifying, but this Jason is easily better than The Final Chapter. 6/10

It’s probably the best movie that it could’ve been. But it’s still got issues. The cgi has aged really poorly. It’s fun and pretty breezy though. Hard to really complain too much.
