Don’t look up has one of the best casts you’ll see in any movie this year, and I’m happy to say everyone kills their role. The movie itself is funny, interesting and what could truly be a realistic way the world would react to the end. Greed. Jennifer Lawrence and DiCaprio have such good chemistry in this which makes for a very enjoyable watch.

Let's get the good out of the way. It had its moments that got a chuckle out of me. It wasn't super funny, but saying the humor was horrendous would be too harsh. The best part of this movie is spoilers since it happens at the very end, but in short, it made me feel like this had a purpose other than being a worse Armageddon. Okay, that was everything good about the film. Now for the rest of this dumpster fire. How is this the same editor as The Big Short? There are so many abrupt moments where someone is in the middle of speaking or shouting & then it cuts to the next scene. I understand that it's for comedic purposes, but most of the time, it's not funny. And let me tell you, it gets real fucking repetitive and annoying. Their depiction of social media is wildly inaccurate; it makes me want to gouge my eyes out with an ice cream scooper. Another issue I have with the film is how they show America as having absolute control over the situation as if no other country has a say in anything that happens. So much of this movie is written and acted in such horrid ways that I don't want to talk about it any longer. What the movie got good, it nailed it. Everything else was atrocious. 2/10, carried by those last ten minutes before the credits.

Eu fiquei aterrorizado vendo esse filme, de um jeito que nenhum filme de terror nunca me deixou. Simplesmente porque eu não duvido nada que tudo isso fosse acontecer mesmo caso tivesse um meteoro vindo atingir a terra.
