IF

The entire time I was thinking about the movie didn't belong in neither the kids nor the adult category. Too heavy topics for kids, too cringe jokes for adults. Loved it overall though. That keith reveal was top notch. I'll admit I had watery eyes in some scenes so, success?

He's climbin' in your windows He's snatchin' your people up Tryna rape 'em so y'all need to Hide your kids, hide your wife Hide your kids, hide your wife Hide your kids, hide your wife And hide your husband 'Cause they're raping everybody out here You don't have to come and confess We're lookin' for you We gon' find you, we gon' find you In all seriousness, this movie is the reason why the word ‘no’ was invented. If a child sees a grown ass man climbing into a little girl’s window, why isn’t her first INSTINCT to run and grab a cop???? I just fucking hate how contrived and safe this movie is. For a movie revolving around imaginary friends, there sure seems to be a total lack of imagination in it. Nothing about the designs of the IFs are memorable. I fucking loathed every last minute of this thing. And what’s worse is that my local theater didn’t pick up I Saw the TV Glow, and I wish I would’ve seen that instead, and there was nothing else interesting showing this week that caught my eye, so I settled on this. But thankfully, I have a movie pass, so my money won’t be going towards this shit.
