An absolute wacky 2 hours deep delving into Lynch’s mind of dreams. The videotapes perfectly set the story throughout, and somehow the film always felt climactic, however I feel like that is just the essence of Lynch’s artistic work. Definitely one of my top 3 Lynch so far, I’m looking forward to finishing Twin Peaks this summer!

A narrativa confusa e a atmosfera sufocante transformam o filme numa experiência de paranoia contínua, o que pode ser bom ou ruim, onde memória e desejo se confundem. Lynch não oferece sentido fechado: expõe o vazio e deixa o espectador preso dentro dele, como sempre, mas não deixa de entregar uma cinematografia linda e enigmática.
