Angel Heart

part of my 20 random movies challenge. solid noir/horror movie. starts off as a fairly normal crime/mystery film. when it goes into the supernatural/satanic elements is when it really interested me. good looking movie, with a gritty atmosphere that fits the bleak tone of the movie. the occasional jumbled editing and moments of surreal horror were pretty interesting as well, and the performances work. this marks two films i’ve seen this month that have the twist of someone sleeping with their kid. quite disturbing.
