Tomara que a pessoa que fez esse filme pegue prisão perpétua isso é com certeza uma afronta a integridade de quem gastou mais de 10 minutos do tempo que o filme diz ser tão valioso vendo essa atrocidade cinematográfica

when the camera filming cut to someone with a camera filming watching the beachgoers in the water, i turned to my friend and said verbatim "if this is fucking M Night's cameo character returning" and ten seconds later it was exactly that the only thing i'll ever positively remember from this film is the reaction i had after that
Old
"I can't remember - why did we want to leave this beach? So beautiful..."

Unsuccessfully old It is worth paying tribute to Shyamalan. He is one of the rare filmmakers who comes up with action-packed thrillers. Unfortunately, in this case, the implementation turned out to be worse than the idea. The film is saturated with inconsistencies, ridiculous moments, and illogical behaviors of the characters. The main idea of the film is for people to appreciate time. And so here's my advice to you: don't waste your time on this movie.
Old
No.. this is so wrong and not logical at the same time, cuz it's like i'm raising a kids while watching this.
Old
So dumb... so expositive, so human, so emotional. Yep, that's the Shyamalan i know and love.

My biggest issue with this movie is the directin and editing. Like the writing and dialouge were not that great but the editing and direction was worse. An interesting concept was wasted. I was fine with the ending because frankly if they didnt give any answers on why the beach ahes people and why they were sent there i would've been very annoyed. Actually when everything was revealed that was the best part of the movie in terms of quality. 3 out of 10 stars i guess

Went and saw it at the movies It was decent, one particular scene WAS NOT needed tho

Probably the best looking film that M. Night Shyamalan has put out, as well as one of his more consistent. There is a struggle to get the film established, as the first act seems to move at a glacial pace, but once the film finds its footing, it actually becomes a very fun and very interesting watch. There are some great performances all around here, which really elevate the film and show that, when with a skilled cast, Shyamalan can craft a lean and mean thriller. As per usual, there’s a twist that can either be a hit or a miss (and I’m not talking about that Shyamalan cameo). I myself wasn’t a fan of the twist and still am trying to wrap my head around it, but it’s nothing that I absolutely hate, just left a bit perplexed by it. Overall, Old is one of Shyamalan’s better recent films, and as per usual with him, I’m intrigued and excited to see what he comes out with next.
