Illustrious Corpses

I think I have seen the pattern of 1970s European political thrillers, they almost have the same formula of 1) there's murder case 2) theres an obsessive detective who wanna uncover the truth 3) communism throws into the plot and gets associated with the murder case and become a political thriller 4) the ending is so baffling because they left you with no explanation and it makes you unfulfilled but thats the charm of it.
