“Everyone is on some shit. We're all just kids doing some little hacks to try to live our best life” “Believe it or not, I missed you. Is that weird? I mean you killed me, and now I like you more, that feels weird” “Through adversity we find strength” the way I screamed when Samara Weaving showed herself at the final ritual and her presence wasn't just all flashbacks like I thought it'd be = inhuman. A++++, instantly bumped this by two stars, forgave all the flaws of the prior 70 minutes in a heartbeat and then they gave her a happy/redemptive ending???? extra star. like wow, i'm not kidding when i say this was the most i turned around on a film in the final ~18 minutes. Still not as good as the first one though

I can't believe this one is a hundred times better than the first one, it is so iconically dumb and fun that it is really enjoyable, besides we got both Jenna Ortega and Samara in the same movie I MEAN GODDESESS OF THEM ALL. Cool movie great for Halloween vibes.

The Babysitter: Killer Queen wades through familiar territory, offering new oddball characters with similar situations to the previous film. It’s still a fun film, even if it is missing the charm that made the first film so memorable. There are moments where the film really shines through, and becomes pretty fun, but it doesn’t change up much of the formula set from the first film, making it predictable in the end. It’s still a fun watch, and would be a pretty fun one to see with friends, but overall, it’s a bit disappointing, especially since I really did enjoy the first film.

I started watching this for Jenna Ortega, stayed for Jenna Ortega, and only liked this movie because of Jenna Ortega. Jenna Ortega. that's it. other stuff was okay I guess, the comedy was um interesting but I slightly chuckled at some points, the VFX was meh at best, and all the plots of people that wanted to kill this virgin boy are so dumb, but I love it.
