The Electrical Life of Louis Wain
Tears and nose drippings are currently streaming down my face as I write this review. This film is one of (if not THE) most underrated of 2021. It’s so incredibly beautiful and unique. The cinematography is amazing, with a vibrant palette of colors and framed shots (not to mention the 4:3 ratio) that would make even Wes Anderson proud. The music is unparalleled and unforgettable. I watched this for the first time last year, and to this day, the theremin melodies still play in my head from time to time. They’re simply angelic. Benedict delivers a superb performance, arguably the best of his career (although The Imitation Game is also a strong contender). And of course, as I mentioned, I consistently bawl my eyes out at the end, as well as tear up a couple of other times throughout. It’s truly a stunning work about someone I and probably the rest of the world know so little about. I can always count on this film to help me rethink life and love, and how experiencing both is one of the most beautiful things we can do as humans. Please go watch this immediately. And yes, there are lots of cats which is MAYBE another reason why I love this movie…

While his performance in that film was quite good, it is of my opinion that THIS was Cumberbatch’s absolute best performance of 2021. God damn it, this movie is brilliant. From the colors to the music to the acting to the FREAKIN CATS. This is such an under appreciated film, how was this not talked about more??

كانت اول مره اسمع فيها ب لويس وين بالفيلم ، وهي السيرة الذاتية للفنان لويس واللي أشتهر برسوماته السريالية للقطط والفيلم غريب ومضحك ومأساوي، مافي شيء مميز وكان طويل شوي ويمكن مايعجب الكل لكنه مليء بألوان لويس والتصوير الجميل ومحاولة اخراج بهجة ألوان لويس وين وتعبرلك عن جمالية الحياه لكن فقط تحتاج منك النظر، وأداء بينديكت بغريب اطوار ذكي ماهي جديد لكن اعطاني شيء مختلف بهالفيلم وكان الفيلم معتمد بشكل كامل عليه. والفيلم فيه من روح ويس آندرسون، ويستاهل
