Is it a great movie? No. But it is a movie that is not nearly as bad as people say it is. It tries to be every great SciFi movie at once, which is kind of entertaining. I little bit of Blade Runner, Terminator, Pacific Rim, maybe a little Avatar sprinkled in, etc. Almost like if The Asylum or the rip off Italian movies from the 80s had a huge budget. Jennifer Lopez just a decent job as the lead of the movie, and we get some fun performances from Sterling K Brown and Mark Strong as well. I would say it is pretty inoffensive, I seen much worse SciFi movies in my life even this year. And it at least tries to have a good story, with themes such as trust, consent, and past trauma. Pretty basic, but its nice to get movies like this that are part of a bigger franchise.
