Sports movies do something to me that I feel like no other movie is able to.  Brad Pitt has some fun phrases that I’m stealing, Jonah hill is a convincing baseball nerd.  Overall a good time, perfect type of movie to catch on cable tv

Another revisit, seemingly perfectly timed with this months sudden remembrances of playing ball (poorly) in Little League and collecting sports cards as a kid. Guess I still have a soft spot for being bored at a ballpark, paying too much for a hot dog, and so on.

This movie was interesting to see how the A's worked their team. It had a great cast and was actually really interesting. It was a baseball movie, but it focused on how the team is run.

"It's hard not to be romantic about baseball." I know little things about baseball. I played it when I was in primary school. But this movie itched my brain in the right way. They made statistics, sales and baseball interesting, plus I don't really know about the transfer system in baseball, but then it became entertaining with Brad Pitt's acting. (yap review)

i know this isn’t a sports movie in the traditional sense but i think this is officially the only ‘sports’ movie i like. and i reallylike this movie. i know they’re two very different things but i just kept thinking of the social networkthroughout, but i don’t think that’s a bad thing. not for me at least. i prefer that kind of slower, calculated biopic.
