Like Gone in 60 Seconds, here was another Cage flick I inexplicably watched a bunch around that time period. Was this among the last gasps of an era's suburban myth-making? Unearthly, seeing the flat "What if you had made different choices" tagline and said choice seems to be high-powered-this-man-is-an-island company President or bowling-team-goofball-"#1 Dad"-mug-sipping-chuckle-at-Dilbert-comics-sitcom send-up. And what of me still enjoying so many millennium romcom moments; Cage bounding in his underwear to an operatic penthouse sing-along, the little girl tearfully accepting her 'alien' dad and welcoming him to earth, Leoni relishing the forbidden cake.
