The Da Vinci Code
The first sequence editing,, God I immediately thought this is gonna be bad and I was right
The Da Vinci Code
The Da Vinci Code
The Da Vinci Code
i enjoy this utter nonsense so much, also someone pls give me a cryptex to solve a la ben wyatt
The Da Vinci Code
The Da Vinci Code
[Sophie]: “[Mary Magdalene] wrote a gospel?” [Langdon]: “She may have.” [Teabing]: “Robert, will you fight fair?” [Langdon]: “She *may* have.” If anything, this is the movie that altered my life. Cheesy, I know...but it's true. And truth be told, this was also the film that got me into history, cryptology, and films (all of which I still love). I did watch this before reading the books, but after reading this (and the rest), I can say that this film is the closest to the book. Sure they changed it for obvious reasons, but most of the book canon is still there—and it still does, out of the three films + the TV series made of this book saga. I do wish they extended the last 30 minutes of the film. It was one of my favorite scenes in the book and I wish I saw it onscreen, too. Either way, I love this film with all my heart, and if there's anything I love about the three films, is the absence of romance between Langdon and his female leads. That's one of the major difference between book and the screen adaptations (excluding The Lost Symbol) that I appreciate the most.
The Da Vinci Code
12 year old me, haven't read the book: “this shit is good. I'll hyperfixate on you now.” 23 year old me, having read the book: “this shit is good. I like the book better though. And no more hyperfixating on you now either.”
The Da Vinci Code
