The Rental
A thriller that takes a whiel to establish itself, The Rental is a film that is worth the wait. A slow crawl throughout a majority of the film, there are some interesting characters built up, which makes the events that unfold seem even more shocking. Not shy when it comes to violence, we get to see the gears grinding to create a suspenseful final act, which is going to stick with me for a while. It’s a fun film, and a really good first film for director Dave Franco. It felt like a film that Joe Swanberg would be attached to, so it wasn’t a surprise to see that he was one of the writers for it, since it has all of the traits of films that he is attached to. Overall, The Rental is an extremely fun thriller that may take a while to get into, but certainly is worth the wait.

Se debe ser paciente pero los vigilados saben recompensar con un entretenido thriller casi slasher donde el sólido casting conducen de manera convincente su argumento, Dave Franco tiene claro sus decisiones a la hora de dirigir y como debut es una buena presentación.
