The Innkeepers
The Innkeepers maintains it’s status of being one of my favorite hororr films of all time. It takes a simple concept, following two amateur ghost hunters while they work the closing weekend of a nearly abandoned hotel, and create a film dripping with dread, ultimately leading to one of the most horrifying conclusions of any modern horror film. Haunted houses continue to be one of my favorite sub-genres within horror, and The Innkeepers is the cream of the crop. It’s certianly an odd time of year to watch this film, as I tend to save it for my Halloween viewings, but it’s nice to revisit such a good horror film.
The Innkeepers
Loved Sara Paxton & Kelly McGillis in this one. Nice riff on the haunted house genre. A slow burn, but not so slow as to be boring or make you wish it hurried along. I enjoyed the time with the characters.
