Mid & Disappointing😑😑 The trailer gave some hope but as episodes passed by, the expectations & the quality fell. And this was disappointing considering that they were going TV-MA for this & did injustice with that. Being grounded & serious was one of its good points. But the show lacked the story, action, characters & many characters were under-utilised. The only good action scene was from Ep1 with Daredevil, except that, nothing good in terms of action. After 4eps, I was expecting a fuck up in the finale and as usual, they blew it. The native American past of Maya was shown well but it doesn't affect the story and doesn't feel important. And at this point I am tired of these Marvel shows. That Daredevil action sequence was way too good & they improved on Wilson Fisk from Hawkeye but compared to the Netflix version, we needed more. The Post-credit sets up Daredevil: Born Again & I am all up for it.

Marvel has finally done it again. Ngl this is one of the best mcu projects that has been released in a while (besides gotg3). Going into this I was expecting a gritty and dark show similar to daredevil. However this had that and even more heart to it. I think I enjoyed this more than my expectations. Alaqua Cox is amazing as Echo and I'm so glad she has a leading role where I can appreciate that. The whole ancestors thing was pretty interesting and cool and I'm still wondering how her abilities work. I also really like the family chemistry between all them. The emotions between every character were pretty hard hitting thanks to good performances. The rating for this definitely made it more enjoyable it's way better to see the darkness of these characters especially Kingpin. Which I'm so glad we got back again Vincent D'Onofrio is so amazing as kingpin. The fact that all the netflix shows are canon now is crazy to think about. Speaking of that it was amazing to finally see Daredevil in his full Netflix version despite the fact he has like 7 mins of screen time. I don't mind though because I was more paying attention to Maya. Her relationship with Kingpin is pretty interesting and I wonder how it fits in with the daredevil show. Especially since some of these scenes take place before hawkeye. Anyways this surprised me alot and I definitely recommend you check it out. Kinda wish it had 6 episodes instead of 5 though. I think this deserves 4/5 if I think otherwise it will only go down by .5 lol Also where's the poster for this? Why doesn't letterboxd have one
