What do I know that you need so bad? For the most part, I suppose it's not too bad. There's a lot of cool ideas presented and the acting isn't particularly awful (mostly), but it's main problem is that there's not much to take away from it. It feels so boring to the point where it's not even that interesting, there's nothing here worth sticking around for. The characters are all dull and forgettable, the writing doesn't feel authentic, the action feels rather stale, the direction is messy, and there's not really anything that surpasses bland. I'd much rather a movie be just straight up bad because at least there's some memorability in its lack of quality, but this just sinks to the boring and forgettable side of sci-fi, which I'd argue is worse.

Better watch Versus (2000), by Ryûhei Kitamura. It's quite the same but fun, bonkers and straight to the point. This looks something that a studio needs to hide, because it's exactly Paramount did, and for comprehensible reasons. This is a boring, overexpositive, and ridiculously incoherent aproach of an not-so original, but nice idea. Gemini Man at least is way human than this.

73/100 Don’t see the problem people had with it. Third acts a bit messy but overall decent.
