Shocktober 35/31 Surprisingly well-made indie body horror haunted house/brothel story. The first half can feel a bit long and make you question the actual plot, but the big 3 (Phil Brooks as the fucked-up ex-lawyer trying to renovate his new home, Trieste Kelly Dunn as the pregnant wife from a distance, and Sarah Brooks as the unknown third piece who won't seem to leave the house Or their relationship alone) do a good job of acting throughout, and the second half does a great job of bringing it all together as a tale of how forgiveness can only be given so many times

the movie only really got interesting when the wife showed up at the house. it would've been a much better movie if we followed the pregnant wife than the idiot husband.
