"There's no way White Chicks would work in real life. They look like bleached ninja turtles.“ Eric Andre is one of my favorite comic actors in the industry today, mostly because of his claim to fame The Eric Andre Showon Adult Swim. He specializes in outlandish, often surreal comedy targeting unknowing participants — my favorite joke being when he interviews Seth Rogan and put his actual phone number live on air, forcing Seth to suspend his number. Bad Tripfollows his humor very well, albeit very toned down from it’s usual level of intensity, but I think this helps the surprisingly sincere story be the centerpiece to this film. I quite enjoyed Chris and Bud’s portrayal of a strong friendship. Tiffany Haddish was also really, REALLY funny in this — my favorite segment being her accusing some random guy called Craig for being in on the plan to steal her car. When he refutes she pulls out a photoshopped image of Craig with her brother and Chris, and you can just tell the random dude was so confused and annoyed.
