❝If you'd told me yesterday that we'd be stuck in a tiny cage together for who knows how long, I'd have sworn we'd have killed each other. But, now, I'm not happy we're stuck, but the being with you part, I actually don't mind it.❞ · · ──────⊹⊱ ✦ ⊰⊹────── · · Such a good film, and one of the biggest reasons is Barbie and Raquelle forgiving each other and becoming friends. It's a good reminder about the power of friendship and communication, along with Graciella talking things out with Carrie and Taylor. Another huge reason is how much personality Ken has; he's genuinely so enjoyable to watch (aka the duel scenes) instead of being a slightly weird love interest (in a similar vein Zane is adorable and it's so sweet ro see how much he loves Graciella). Also, huge shout-out to Reena and Graylen for being one of the sweetest on-screen couples I've ever seen, and all the references/reused models seen in other Barbie films. I feel like I say this with every Barbie film but the outfits and wings are so beautiful and I want all of them. The soundtrack goes hard, too; an awesome film through and through.
