Fyre Fraud

Fyre Fraud takes a very different look at the Fyre Festival, showing a more true-crime aspect, as well as adding in comedy. Where Fyre was a little more dramatic, this documentary felt a little more aimed toward the Millennial crowd, showing how a younger crowd views the events that happened, compared to the more analytical approach that the Netflix documentary took. Since I had previously watched the Netflix documentary, I pretty much knew all of the events that happened, so this one really didn't add anything new. It's interesting to see that they were able to interview Billy, the mastermind behind the festival, but he ultimately didn't offer anything insightful into what was going on. Both are very interesting documentaries, but I did happen to prefer the Netflix documentary, since it really did offer a better glimpse into all aspects of what happened. Fyre Festival still will go down as one of the oddest and largest con jobs ever, and it will be interesting to see what else Billy McFarland decides to do once he's out of prison.
