The Great Train Robbery
Often quotes as the most important film in history, TGTR is obviously a classic. Unsurprisingly, after 120 years it doesn’t really hold up as well, but it is well worth a watch just for the history alone. There isnt much to it, and it’s a very easy watch. If you imagine the most simple train robbery ever, this is that film. The ending is iconic though, 4th wall break shot at the camera, take note Bond.

Goofy heist with jaunty music and dramatic falls: not bad to dedicate the first 12 minutes of my day on a Tuesday morning. Never expected to get shot at the end though, like...what the fuck man?? 😭
