Die Hard is a fun and fast-paced action classic with a great lead performance from Bruce Willis. The action is exciting, even if the story is pretty straightforward. Overall, die hard is a highly entertaining film that still works really well as an action movie.

There is so much to love about this film, but my favorite thing by far is the cast. Alan Rickman is such a perfect villain as Hans, Bruce Willis kills it as McClane, Al, Argyle, everyone is so great with their performances. Way too many one-liners to pick a favorite, incredible action sequences with explosions, firefights, and witty banter, and it all revolves around a single location (which they utilize the entirety of), maintains solid pacing, and builds tension very effectively. One of my favorite Xmas movies of all time. Some things I found funny: -Argyle just vibing in his limo the whole time whilst shit hits the fan -The fact that John McClane did all of that barefoot -“I’m Agent Johnson, this is Special Agent Johnson. No relation.” (it’s giving Psych humor)
