When I first saw this movie, when it came out in 2011, I was still relatively young in my life. I hadn't been to many weddings yet, let alone a part of any. And while I really liked the movie when I first watched it, me being 14 years older now, and having more lived experiences now, I can truly appreciate how great this movie is. The number of parallels I can draw from my own experiences is uncanny. Truly a masterpiece.

I honestly have so much fun with this film every single time I watch it, and was even more fun showing it to my roommate for the first time. It’s the rare comedy that manges to hit my funny bone every time, and is just as funny on every rewatch. Bridesmaids truly is one of the best comedies out there, and I wouldn’t be opposed if they decided they wanted to revisit this since it’s been 10 years since it’s release. These characters are so charming and lovable, it would be fun to see what they’re up to now.

Bridesmaids is a film that I watch if I'm in a bad mood. If I need cheering up, or even need a good laugh, this is my go to film. Everything about this film is absolutely hilarious, whether it be the iconic dress scene to the ridiculous scene right at the end, it all makes me happy and laugh. I was happy to show this to a very close friend for the first time and now this film has even more great memories for me.

So good, seems long for a comedy but it goes by super quick. Let’s get a Groomsmen spin-off that follows Dougie! 8/10
