achei muito boa a história, a ideia de transformar um acontecimento real em um musical cheio de humor foi com certeza a melhor de todas, Lin Manuel Miranda foi um gênio ao escrever as músicas, simplesmente incrível!!

literally all of them carried this movie except lin, good for him for creating the musical and thank you as well but he isn’t a great actor AT ALL.

yes i watched this again a few days later khalil had not seen before . also welcome to a-list! we missed the first like 5 songs because of a train delay. i was somehow more bothered than khalil. he just doesn’t get it yet. maybe one day. he enjoyed but not a ton. i think this is because a lot was missed. like the first 4 songs of act 2 because there was an issue at concessions when he went at intermission. reminds me the way i feel about movies and art in general. a lot of your enjoyment depends on your investment. if you aren’t giving yourself the chance to enjoy, you won’t. which includes not seeing the entire work. in a musical and hamilton especially, so much exposition happens in those first few songs. moments that happen later have considerably less payoff when you miss the introduction of the thing that is later called back etc. i’ll end my rant there anyways. it’s quiet uptown always gets me. “forgiveness. can you imagine?”

hamilten! lil mini documentary before it started was cute such a beautiful piece of art ten years is crazy. this will continue to prove to be particularly timeless. 🥺 it’s quiet uptown, who lives who dies reminded me that them getting obama on that one last time remix was quite possibly one of the best moves in the history of art and politics.
