last 10 minutes goes crazy, like i really thought sonya dug up a real money but then it turns out its not? and then you see the bloated corpse and then the head fell off? and then suddenly sonya is walking towards the forest and the dead woman is there?

why did i just watch this now?! the silence, grief, loneliness—wow, the real definition of loud silence. very creepy and disturbing, but hey, most filipinos are just like her, looking for a companion and something to believe in, something supernatural that will bring luck (i don’t want to elaborate further). this film is deep, heartbreaking, and, like others have said, impactful.
