Had an interesting idea that intrigued me; however, the same mistakes continue. Nothing makes sense!

One of the rare films where you really didn't learn that much about Why something was happening and it...really didn't bother me that much? Madeline Brewer did a great enough job of being progressively more horrified at the situation she was finding herself in that I managed to be captivated throughout this brief runtime. And that birthday party scene was so well-done! I'm looking forward to Daniel Goldhaber's future if this was what his first feature film looks like

Showgirls meets Perfect Blue no mundo das camgirls: o que é verdadeiro em frente a uma câmera?
Cam
I had just heard about Cam a couple of days ago, when I was looking on Netflix for something new to watch. I went into the film knowing nearly nothing, only knowing a little bit about the film's plot. I think this benefited me in the end, since I had no expectations, and needless to say, I was very impressed by Cam. It's a horror film, but is set up like a satire (think Assassination Nation), but in the last act completely becomes a jaw dropping horror film. For those who are looking for a pure horror film, this is more than likely going to disappoint, since it does take a lot of time to get into the actual film, and takes a long time before the actual horror begins. But for those who are willing to wait, this film really starts to show its true colors. Since it was set up like a satire, I wish that it had fully committed to the idea, but I'm willing to let that go, since it really did become a smart horror film. Cam isn't for everybody, but it's definitely one of the better horror films to have come from Netflix recently.

Wow! I think I’d originally skipped this due to Blumhouse straight to streaming not being something I’d consider indicative of high quality, but damn, this was great. Pregaming a bit forFACES OF DEATH (https://boxd.it/wiLC)and felt I had to check this out since it’s not only Daniel Goldhaber, but also Isa Mazzei. And they fucking deliver. A really smart film, with a great central performance by Madeline Brewer. One of the things I truly love about horror as a genre is how it uses those conventions to explore some really interesting ideas and topics, CAM is no exception. Though I’m sure people far smarter and more equipped than me have written more and better, I really loved the way the film deals with identity and disassociation in relation to sexuality and exploitation. Really good stuff in this film.

The Year is 2018: Ranked and Reviewed (https://boxd.it/1OIs4) A nightmare manifested from an obsession — this is what turns Cam into the psychological thriller you'd expect from its disorientated poster. Intense, strange, and close-up in the field of online Cam girls, this refreshing feature from Daniel Goldhaber and first time screenwriter Isa Mazzei is an undeniable win in most departments. Lead actress Madeline Brewer is fantastic as the film's center cam girl — a stunning one-woman-show, if you will — as her mind begins to bend and loosen while a visceral nightmare takes over her life. Her performance is what keeps the mystery afloat, even if it merely dissipates in the film's third act. Against the array of pink colors and lights in her character's room where she puts on her nightly shows to freegirls.com, the cinematography works just right. I enjoyed this one quite a lot. 3.7/5

Cam establece una trama original que refresca el genero de thriller independiente ,Su manera de rebajar su contenido llega hacer muy adecuado,Realmente cam es una propuesta acertada a pesar de que su ejecución final pierde bastante peso.
