The film realization that hurt the most was discovering that anthologies are such a cool concept that just rarely ever works out as well as it should. There are so many more duds out there than this style of storytelling deserves in cinema, especially in horror The alien dinner segment was really charming, I dug the office party segment, and the wraparound with the actors in the theater was something that genuinely grew on me eventually. If you're looking for modern holiday season content that's quality overall though, you can safely skip this film altogether
