Happy Death Day 2U
Came out on my birthday, had heartfelt moments I needed to experience at this time of my life, And had a suicide montage set to Paramore's "Hard Times"? Yeah, I've already accepted that this is going to be my film of the year (even with 10.5 months left), and I'm going to be back here opening night, with a smile on my face, for however many more installments they want to make of this that Jessica Rothe signs on for
Happy Death Day 2U
This movie is most likely like Happy death day 1 but more weird and funny, i think i more like the season 1 than this, but the comedy is so funny and absurd like what the heck LOL. So this is 4 star for the comedy, the horror thing is so much like season 1 nothing more. 🤣
Happy Death Day 2U
While it may become redundant at times, Happy Death Day 2U is a worthy sequel to a great first film. Picking up immediately where the previous film leaves off, this sequel adds more dimension to the universe, as well as closing the biggest plot hole the series has - how the time loop started in the first place. It's fun, emotional, and altogether a great sequel, even if some of the deaths feel a little overdone. The biggest problem with this film was the amount of time that it was dragging on, since there were some scenes that could've been cut shorter to keep the film quick and concise. But, Happy Death Day 2U still is a fun and campy horror comedy that I'd love to see on the big screen again, it's a franchise that could get pretty repetitive after multiple installations, but I think one more would be really fun.

Happy Death Day 2U
Jessica Rothe pretty much saves it, but I did enjoy it a lot more than the first viewing. I was pretty much asleep when I first watched this, so I didn’t really get to “watch” it. I do still think they shouldve leaned further into the slasher genre because it’s almost completely missing and it shows. There are some funny gags in here like Tree killing herself over and over again. Danielle acting blind was also kinda funny. None of the kills stood out to me unfortunately. 6/10
Happy Death Day 2U
Way worse than the first movie. The plot was nonsensical (obviously the first movie was as well, but it was at least fun) and the slasher vibe was almost nonexistent. Jessica Rothe was still pretty good. Terrible idea to make Ryan a main character though. He’s just not interesting. I will be honest though. After my Halloween double feature I was extremely tired, but I wanted to make it an even 30 movies that I watched this month. I kept falling asleep and just going in and out of focus. I’m going to have to rewatch it when i’m not borderline unconscious. So as for now, my rating above doesn’t mean too much. 4/10
Happy Death Day 2U
Should have left it as a black comedy with a few sprinkles of cuteness. It tries to do way too many different things so it makes sense why people didn't like this one more than the first one.
