Achei legal o filme por ser fofo e a prota ser muito linda, mas é um filme comum, apareceu no meu recomendados d Netflix e não tem nada DMs, tem umas cenas estranhas cm sapo e uns sexos aleatório, mas é aquele filme ruim q não é ruim ruim mas não é bom tbm

I am beyond excited to see that more LGBT films are being released. With this year's Love, Simon, it's clear to see that LGBT films are films that are able to succeed. Alex Strangelove is another strong LGBT film, even if it winds up being cliched. It's a different look at sexuality, but in the end, the film doesn't accomplish much. It's a cute story that ends on a very good note, but that's really all the film is. It has it's funny moments, it has it's cute moments, and is altogether a fun film to watch. Alex Strangelove is a cliched rom-com that isn't as good of a film as Love, Simon is, but still is a fun film nonetheless.

Probably one of the only times I’ll ever say the gay storyline seemed forced. It was clear to me that they were writing this to be a bisexual awakening story (which would’ve been more interesting), and then they made an abrupt left in gay love story territory, and it caught me off guard. It just didn’t make sense, narratively. I will say, this was one of the better Netflix originals; with a sweet romance and friendship at it’s heart.

The ending was good i guess. Clarie was the only likable character in the movie. I loved Elliot’s moonlight poster in his room. Alex was a ok character. His feelings about Elliot is something i can relate to.
