SPOOKTOBER #25 If the murder scenes in this movie were more intense, it could've been much better because the movie is too ordinary. Honestly, the lack of tension in the story makes it boring. The plot? Meh, there's nothing special about it.

best way to watch this is with friends fr bcs we’re literally just out here laughing, screaming, and being stressed at everyone’s stupidity. i dont think i would’ve given this a 3 stars if i wasn't watching it with them cause its quite disappointing, most of the time we are so lost lmao. as someone who have known the lore and watched gameplays i appreciate the easter eggs but the movie is just mostly a huh moment. it doesn’t even have enough gore, as a movie that has possessed animatronics that kills people there’s certainly not enough killing in it and we barely even see the kills on screen. the jumpscares are not jumpscaring either. we barely even see him actually survive the night at freddy’s he’s mostly asleep and at a dream state which we recognized is the minigame from the original game but still he spent most of the time asleep instead of actually surviving the night. they also set up the sequel at the end, i hope it would be better.

Quite a strange film, not so bad that it’s funny, more just strange. The story moves along at quite a slow pace and there are virtually no scares in this. Quite liked the story even though it had probably the most predictable twist and ending in all of film history. Overall it’s fine if not slightly disappointing, as somebody who grew up with the game I expected better.

Really fan service-y but it's hilarious. When the credits started playing, I was screaming in my seat. I hope the second film keeps up with the same energy, but not a 1-to-1 replica obviously. Hopefully Josh Hutcherson got some acting skills between the two because he was easily the worst part of the film. What an amazing experience. 6/10 though because main actor sucked shit and script wasn't amazing.

Mike (Josh Hutcherson) possui problemas em manter um emprego fixo por conta de um trauma de infância que o persegue, o desaparecimento do irmão. Um dia ele consegue um emprego como guarda noturno em uma antiga pizzaria que agora está falida e fechada, Freddy Fazzbear Pizza Place. Essa adaptação de Five Nights até Freddy's é um longa que não possui um foco único e atira tanto pra todo lado... Que não atinge ninguém direito. A trama do filme é extremamente fragmentada e nunca está 100% dedicado a desenvolver algo. Não sabe se é um melodrama barato e sem profundidade, não sabe se é um filme de terror de assombração ou se um filme de comédia em certo ponto. Independente do que ele tenta ser, não consegue acertar em nada. O longa depende dos símbolos tirados da obra matriz, os jogos, para ter o mínimo de personalidade. Personalidade essa que é pura estética. Sem falar do terror que, pelo fato de ter uma classificação abaixo de 16 anos, se sustenta em ser um filme de sustinhos rápidos e baratos, inclusive em momentos tão aleatórios que você pensa que, muito provavelmente, na falta de sustos na hora da montagem, inserem esse aqui só pra fazer um checklist. O designe de produção é de longe a melhor coisa do longa. Pra quem conhece FNaF estará muito bem servido com os Animatronics extremamente fiéis e críveis, um deleite providenciado pelos efeitos práticos. Agora para quem não é conhecido desse universo, vai encontrar uma história extremamente confusa, repetitiva e muito, mas muito cansativa. Ao passo de que na segunda metade do longa você não aguenta mais tanta repetição e só espera pelo fim. No mais, Five Nights at Freddy's é um filme de terror que não é terror, até pq o único elemento de terror que ele possuí são os jumpscares rápidos e extremamente deslocados e que não tem motivo de ser. Tem coisa demais, ao mesmo tempo que falta coisa demais. Uma massaroca de idéias e conceitos que não tem ligação minimamente coerente e que façam sentido no fim.

Contenders for my favorite part: - lawyer - cupcake - me and my friend laughing at the film in our empty theater for most of the (2 hour!!) runtime - cop asking for info for report, guy going on 90 second sidetrack about his bro being disappeared when they were 12, and cop responding by foregoing report entirely and tossing guy's meds into the nearest river
