This movie was so fucking right, enjoy the things you had on high school or college before you'll regret it, and it really happened on me, i was so book nerd on high school and college, i missing out so much, my friend who experienced thing on high school and college now doing great and i'm here look miserable and want going back to high school era, experience this fun thing.

It seems that every year, we have been getting more and more coming of age films that truly resonate with this high school generation. Booksmart is no different, offering a glimpse into the current reigning high school generation, chock full of memes, anxiety, and hope toward their future. This is honestly one of the funniest, and honest, films I have seen in a very long time. These kids truly get to show who they are, and no matter who watches it, can find a character or situation that they themselves have went through, or know. Booksmart certainly isn't for everyone, but I know that it is an impressive feat, especially from first-time director Olivia Wilde. I'd love to have the chance to go see this film again, especially in a packed theater like this showing was, since it was honestly one of the most fun theatrical experiences that I have ever went through.
