i feel like it should've explored more the sister bond between jo and eliza, especially when they have an overbearing mother like rita. was still very enjoyable though. stanley tucci with hair scares me a little bit.

10 minutes in and I knew this is gonna be funn! Ending was kinda mid thou, lacks character but somewhat a fun watch Can wrap my head around the fact how it's the same guy who directed Superbad and how well he managed to capture the vibes of NYC here. Lovely art direction ✨

non-Christmas movie that feels like Christmas movie. I definitely add it to my annual Christmas rewatch list. Also the plot twist at the end literally got me bad.

Ping pong dialogue with a stacked cast levied with New York neurotic comedy to move the family from place to place, to see their dysfunctions gather like dust bunnies in a ll the crowded corners and coin de place that pukes so little peace that even quiet becomes a faraway thing like childlike imagination.

if fargo had a daughter, this would be it. new comfort film. i love going into movies with no idea what they're about. i didn't even read the synopsis or who's in it. everything about it feels like wrapping yourself in a soft blanket. very much an autumn/winter watch. just quietly fell in love with all of it. so completely invested the whole time. little conversations, awkward pauses, messy relationships. everything feels small but somehow important. the music fits perfectly too. parker posey, i am soo in love with you. it's so cool to see her alongside liev schreiber. made me think of scream 3.

you could honestly relate to every single character while watching, such a good mix of comedy & drama.
