this was so dumb but fun. the cia office scenes were the highlight. i will say what happened to brad pitt had me :0 for a good minute. i enjoyed that feeling. also this is prob one of the most egregious chekovs gun instances i’ve ever seen.

This is pretty great. Really enjoyed the comedy and the plot was pretty interesting too. Some parts can be slightly difficult to follow, but overall it’s a great time and one I will definitely watch again. Solid ending too.

Every person in this movie manages to be both delusional and unlikeable basically all the time, but they all do it in different ways so it’s enjoyable the whole time. Probably will have to watch a few times to get it through my thick skull, but first time around it seems like a smart dark comedy w something to say (don’t fully know what that is but whatevs)

68/100 John Malkovich and George Clooney make this movie. Turns out Coen Brothers’ comedies are not for me entirely. I didn’t even know this was made by them until the credits rolled in. It starts off great and gets messier but half the shit Frances and Brad do doesn’t make sense. Eventually everyone loses their mind and gets fucked. I don’t really have much to say about this film. It’s got a phenomenal cast and if you ever think you look bad, just know that Brad Pitt can look like an absolute dork too. He was so stupid in this. The moment he got popped was actually shocking, as real a gunshot as I’ve ever seen on screen.
