Eighth Grade
"just cause thing's happening right now, doesn't mean they're always gonna happen" um olá para kayla (a garota mais legal do mundo) um filme realista sobre a oitava série e sobre ser uma adolescente "diferente",é uma representação ótima sobre a oitava série e estar crescendo. Eu adorei. E tudo bem ser...diferente 🦊 gucci! ps : gabe é adorável, fiquei ansiosa para eles se falarem novamente depois da festa hehe
Eighth Grade
Oh dear. Had to keep pausing it every 15 minutes or so due to my heart being in my goddamn throat. *tear*
Eighth Grade
Gucci 👌🏻 I'm so embrassed watch this film, because this film is mocking me, Kayla is just really like me. Cannot socialize, only spending time with phone, getting shy and awkwardly with new person, this film is so me-coded! *ps. I need Kayla's youtube so i can watch the video her make.

Eighth Grade
What is it with A24? They literally put out the best films, and Eighth Grade is no exception. Bo Burnham's directorial debut is a heartening, poignant look at modern teenage life. This film brought up anxieties that I thought that I had gotten rid of, anxieties that had risen in middle school. Eighth Grade hits home for many people, myself included. It's a brilliant film that's filled with so much love and acceptance, it's a much needed film for many teenagers who feel the same way that Kayla feels, the same way that I felt in middle school. Eighth Grade is a phenomenal first film from Burnham, which makes me even more excited to see what else he has to offer.

Eighth Grade
My Final Friday, and Final Day, of Middle School. Exiting Eighth Grade:Eighth Grade ———————————————————————————— Ugh this is so hard to write a review for. It’s so brutally honest and real. It got dark very quickly and really didn’t get brighter til the end. Absolutely amazing acting from everyone, but especially Elsie Fisher. She perfectly captured the character of Kayla. Poor dad, he just wanted to help 🥹. Riley 🙄. I’m going to have to rewatch this in a few years to compare the difference between watching it on my last day of Middle School and watching it a few years after Middle School. 10/10
Eighth Grade
Fuck you Bo Burnham for not making this movie 6 years sooner. Also thank you for casting people that look and act like real middle/high schoolers.
