A Dangerous Method

❝Sometimes you have to do something unforgivable... just to be able to go on living.❞ · · ──────⊹⊱ ✦ ⊰⊹────── · · While the performances from the leads were exceptional, the plot of A Dangerous Method unfortunately wasn't very engaging. I have a great interest in the work of Jung and so was excited to learn more about him, but there was a lot of focus on his relationship with Sabina, and while I appreciate how it affected his friendship with Freud and his general outlook, it made me uncomfortable, to say the least. And with such a limited cast and quite bleak visuals, the 99 minute run-time felt like forever; I'm not sure I'd watch this again.
