The Song Keepers
The Keepers is this year's best crime documentary series. Focusing on the murder of Sister Cathy, The Keepers delves into the world of the Catholic church, sexual abuse of children, and church secrecy. What started out as a simple crime documentary transformed into a captivating exposé of the Baltimore Catholic churches and priests. Similarly to Disgraced, it's sad to see that somebody had to die, as well as children getting sexually abused, to have people investigate. The Keepers does a beautiful job at making sure the participants were treated with respect, as well as Sister Cathy, while still maintaining that this is a documentary looking at the Church, rather than sexual assault. It's not a surprise that this documentary hasn't garnered as much support and fans as Making a Murderer has, as the case is much older, but still is much more relevant than ever. The Keepers is a fascinating and saddening documentary that everyone needs to watch in their life.

Me atrevería decir que de las mejores series que ha producido Netflix. Una historia nada fácil de contar ni ver pero sumamente importante; expone la corrupción de la Iglesia católica, la policía y el cuerpo legislativo en Baltimore. También me pone a pensar en lo crucial que es saber a quién le estamos dando el poder y la autoridad en la sociedad. Buen double bill con Spotlight.
