Missing Link
A cute story with some great animation, Missing Link really is one of the stronger animated films from this past year, and one that I regret not seeing on the big screen. I couldn’t imagine what it must have looked like on the big screen, seeing the vibrant colors and animation together on the big screen.

❝I have a lot of autumn in me, a lot of autumn colors.❞ 𐄁──── ｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ.────𐄁 Missing Link is a fun, fairly lighthearted film from one of my favourite studios, Laika. The story is pretty interesting, and the voice cast, especially Stephen Fry, did a fantastic job. I can't fault the animation at all, either, and the character designs are nice, but there's something missing from this film. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it lacks a certain special quality that permeates other Laika works like Coraline and ParaNorman. Nevertheless, it's still a good film, and I think it'd go down well with kids who might be scared of darker animated fantasy/adventures.
