i've heard some people talking about this movie like it was a hidden gem with a crazy plot twist.. well it's not that good. The movie is not particularly bad it's just pretty basic, and i'm fine with bad cgi because it's a small budget film but the actors and the plot was just ok at best. so yeah it's a meh. but a "good" meh

The trailer for Together dropped today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pb9tln--Ajs A body horror film that looks nuts and fun, and is the feature directorial debut of Michael Shanks. Saw that all his shorts are on Youtube, so I figured I'd use this opportunity to both celebrate, fill in some gaps, and see the journey of how he got to this point Clever and cute scifi comedy short about a man just wanting to get his spaceship working again so he can get off a devastated Earth. Reminds me of Shyamalan'sOld (https://letterboxd.com/film/old-2021/). Not just because they have similar concepts, but mainly because they are both equally bad. It started off fairly intriguing and I thought to myself "wow this looks like it's going to be quite the mind-fuck". But as soon as these idiotic kids entered the cave, it just all went to shit. The crappy VFX, subpar acting, and lame "twist" felt like something straight out of some low-budget sci-fi TV pilot episode. This whole concept (and movie) would've done much better as a show or mini-series. Overall, really disappointing and I beg you not to watch this. Unless of course you are absolutely in love with cheesy sci-fi, then by all means watch away.
