The Southerner
The Southerner is a sincere and friendly portrayal of a man in pursuit of ensuing the farm life and the episodes that follow surrounding family and friends. Based on the 1941 novel, it isn't hidden perceiving its page-straight-to-screen ordeal, in means of topic and scene set-up. The film undergoes a true novel feeling in the viens of the play-to-screen To Kill A Mockingbird and a handful of other book adaptations from the era. To get started on the entertainment, it seeps of it steadily - heightened during the character's own entertainment, being a friendly brawl... and hmm... another little brawl - this time with the flinging of beer bottles. Family dinner is yet heated with wonderful dialogue whenever Granny is willing, and she always is, so kudos. Even if The Southerner appears too stripped and belittled with pure enticement, it brings home a trickle of emotion and fair play.
